We welcome visitors and newcomers at St. Andrew’s. “All are welcome in this place.” St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church is located at 505 Bullseye Lake Road in Valparaiso, Indiana. The church building and parking lot are accessible to the handicapped. From Calumet Avenue, turn west onto the Bullseye Lake Road. Saturday 5:30 pm Contemporary Rite II Eucharist, often with music Sunday 8:00 am Meditative Rite I Eucharist Sunday 10 am Family-oriented Rite II Eucharist, with traditional music, Sunday School, and childcare provided. Stay after the 10 am service for coffee and treats, served in the gathering space. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The printed bulletins given out in our gathering space include the entire service and the words and music for any hymns. It makes it easy for anyone to follow along with our liturgy and worship. All baptized Christians are welcomed and encouraged to take Communion during the service. Communion at St. Andrew’s is given out at the rail surrounding the altar. Communicants may kneel or stand at the rail. You may receive the wine either by drinking from the chalice or by dipping the wafer into the wine (intinction). If you desire to take only the bread (host), cross you arms across your chest after receiving it and you will not be offered the chalice of wine.
